More about this project...
Good Journey champions sustainable tourism by encouraging people to reach attractions across the UK using public transport, walking, and cycling. As lead designer and developer, I delivered a custom WordPress website designed to handle a wealth of content while keeping the user experience clear, inviting, and accessible.
The brief required a site that could showcase hundreds of destinations and transport options, while staying easy to navigate and update. I created a clean, responsive layout, enhanced with filterable listings, custom mapping tools, and an intuitive system for managing car-free travel guides.
With a strong emphasis on clarity, accessibility, and content management, the site makes it easier for both users and administrators to discover and share travel ideas. The result is a vibrant, flexible platform that supports Good Journey’s mission of making green travel easier and more appealing.
